Of all the traditional English Building materials, timber remains the best loved and most authentic. Wooden floors, in particular, remain as popular as ever. Deservedly so, as no other surface combines natural beauty with practicality: ease of maintenance, hygiene and great durability.
So it pays to look after them, especially as they can improve with age – developing a character that can add value to domestic and commercial properties.
When your floors - hardwood boards, parquet blocks, cork or bamboo - have become grey, tired, marked or damaged, bring back their shine through floor sanding and restoration. No DIY job this, but one that require the skills of a specialist company.
Choose us Today for the complete wood floor refinishing service in Roehampton SW15.
Sanding and sealing floorboards is about stripping away old layers of sealant back to the bare surface. Dust and mess is a thing of the past with the efficient dust collection system of our cylinder machines. The smooth wood may then be stained for a change of colour; and finished through a protective seal of lacquer, hardwax or natural oil.
We also repair or replace damaged timber – and fill gaps to prevent draughts. A disruptive job? Allow us to minimise any inconvenience by working flexibly around your schedule. Weekend or even overnight sanding makes sure that any closure will only be for a short time.
As for period floors, as in parquet floor restoration, we strive to create an authentic finish. By finding the appropriate blocks to match, your new floor will look as good – or even better – than the original.
Ask us today for your free assessment. You will get the best advice based on our twenty years of restoring hardwood floors. And we do the job with only top quality products to the highest degree of workmanship. Your floor will last - and impress who all look and walk upon it.

Did you know about Roehampton?
Roehampton is a district in south-west London, forming the western end of the London Borough of Wandsworth. It lies between the town of Barnes to the north, Putney to the east and Wimbledon Common to the south. The Richmond Park Golf Courses are west of the district, and just north of these is the Roehampton Gate entrance to Richmond Park — the largest of London's Royal Parks. Roehampton is 6.3 miles (10.1 km) south west of Charing Cross.
Roehampton is home to a number of well-known educational institutions: Roehampton University has approximately 8,000 students housed in 4 colleges; the new Queen Mary's Hospital with its renowned amputee rehabilitation centre opened in 2006 is a teaching centre for medical students based in Wandsworth NHS Primary Care Trust; Kingston University has one of its campuses in Roehampton Vale; South Thames College also has a Campus on Roehampton Lane.
Roehampton was originally a village which evolved as a popular residential area for the wealthy within easy reach of London. Roehampton House was built in 1710 and was until 2008 the administrative centre for Queen Mary's Hospital. It is now being developed into private flats. Parkstead House was built in 1763 by the second Earl of Bessborough, and was the home of the socialite Caroline Lamb before being acquired in 1861 for use as a seminary by the Jesuits and renamed Manresa House. Gerard Manley Hopkins, the Jesuit poet, lived there.
