Osterley Park and House is one of the last surviving country estates in London. With its dazzling 18th century Robert Adam interior, Tudor stables and ‘below stairs’ re-creations, many of the great traditions of English architecture are represented under one roof.
Other local houses cannot compete in scale or splendour but many retain the sturdy characteristics of English building. Timber is an ever popular material, particularly in wooden floors.
Noted for their beauty and durability, they are also hygienic and easy to look after. Well-maintained, they improve with age, develop character and can add value to all kinds of domestic and commercial properties.
So much depends on that term ‘maintenance’. If your floors have lost their lustre - through wear, marks or damage - allow us to restore them to their full capabilities.
Call us Now for the complete wood floor repair and restoration service in Osterley.
Whether your floors are composed of parquet blocks, hardwood boards, bamboo or cork, we can advise you on their most suitable treatment. After twenty years of sanding floorboards, we provide all you may need: repairs, gaps filled, staining and your choice of sealants: the natural look of oil and wax; or lacquer for hard wear.
Sanding is the removal of old layers of sealants and paint to leave a smooth, bare finish. Our machines offer virtually dust free sanding – and any disruption is kept to a minimum by our flexible hours. Overnight or weekend working will mean only a short period of closure and loss of business.
As for period floors – parquet floor sanding and restoration involves finding the matching blocks for an authentic finish. We scour our sources of reclaimed timber to give you a floor to compare with the original.
So call us today for your free assessment. We’ll answer your questions, meet your budget – and work with the highest quality materials. Your floor will be of lasting service - and look good for years to come.

Useful facts about Osterley:
Osterley is a district in the London Borough of Hounslow in west London. It is situated approximately 10 miles (16.1 km) west south-west of Charing Cross. Osterley lies north of the A4 (The Great West Road) and extends further northwards beyond the M4 Motorway. Syon Lane forms the border to the east, while the border with the town of Heston lies to the west.
Osterley is principally a rural district encompassing the large ancestral private estate of Osterley Park and its house. These were formerly owned by the Jersey family and were used during World War II as the home for Tom Wintringham's Home Guard training school. They are now National Trust property.
During the inter-war period of the 1930s when the Great West Road was completed ribbon development housing appeared, and this gradually expanded to form the comparatively small residential sections within Osterley. Besides Osterley House and Park, the district is also known for embracing one of the London residences of The Sultan of Brunei (The Aviary Farm in Windmill Lane).
