The burial place of the much-loved essayist Charles Lamb still has some surrounding pre-Victorian buildings, with pretty weatherboarded cottages surviving in Silver Street. The important role of timber in the development of English building continues to the present day – with the enduring popularity of wooden floors.
The only floor surface that improves with age, timber has a character that adds value to all kinds of domestic and commercial properties. They enhance local homes and offices; bars and cafes, schools, gyms and shops.
So your wooden floors are a potential asset. If they are looking shabby, marked or damaged, the solution is at hand. Not curtains or carpets but floor sanding and finishing from a specialist company.
Call on Sanding Wood Floors for the complete wood floor repair and restoration service in Edmonton N9.
Sanding is a skilled yet straightforward process that strips away the old layers of paint and sealant. The bare wood may then be stained for a change of colour - and fresh protection provided by lacquer, hard wax or natural oil.
